Elemental Magicks

Picture
This spell is for invoking the energies of the elements.
This is usually done when a specific elemental energy is needed for a task or when a corresponding type of energy needs strengthening.
The elements are the oldest of old gods & represent the most basic & strongest of energies.
Be very specific in your intent as you may find the energies of these old ones carry into other parts of your life where you may find they are more destructive than helpful.

There are in fact 5 elements, being - Fire, Air, Earth, Water & Spirit (in energy work this is you).
The pentagram represents these five elements & this is why it is often used in rituals & spells on altar clothes or as a decorative magical tool.
The traditional directions for the elements in the Northern Hemisphere have Fire - South & Earth - North.
In the Southern Hemisphere it is Fire - North & Earth - South.
However it really isn't that important as long as you feel comfortable with your layout, it is your positive confident energy & intent we have found is far more important.

When You Are Ready to Begin

  • When you have all you need to invoke you chosen element follow the Spell/Ritual Preparation instructions.
  • We use our altar, clearing enough space for the candle to sit in the middle, if you don't have an altar use a table/floor.
  • Concentrate & focus on the intent of your spell.
  • It is a good idea to do a clearing or cleansing of your own energies before (smudging or cleansing bath/shower).
  • Casting a circle for working with elemental energies is also good idea as these are very strong.
  • Have your chosen incense burning in the background & focus on your intent & task as you continue.
  • Place the piece of paper in the middle of the circle,
  • Anoint your candle with the appropriate oil & place in the middle of the circle on the piece of paper (if stable enough)
  • Light your candle and recite the below with the appropriate element.
  • Recite as many times as needed until your feel the energy is right.
  • Leave the spell candle to burn itself out (if practical).
  • Close your circle (this can be done before the spell candle burns out).
